ProgStage festival is the initiative of musician Patrick Losinsky (Founder of the band ARTLAND) who decided to bring the Israeli prog scene back to life and create a unified scene.

In 2011, the first festival was established in Sharet hall in Petach Tikva and five Israeli prog bands performed and produced the event completely independently. The success of this festival encouraged the ProgStage family to continue the tradition and to embrace the Israeli prog-rock genre and bring it back to the spot light. Therefore, this year it has been decided to broaden the project and produce a festival with high international standards unprecedented in Israel so far.

The festival will take place at Dugal beach next to the sea of Galilee (Lake Kinneret) on October 4th-6th 2012. The festival features major headliner bands, performing for the first time in Israel: Osada Vida, The Flower kings, Andromeda, and Pain of Salvation. To complete this “dream team” we added the most successful Israeli rock band of all times, Orphaned Land, to the line-up. The headliner bands will be accompanied by 14 amazing Israeli bands from the entire spectrum of the progressive genre.
