Live Report | FIREWIND, Arrayan Path, Neon Knights, Marianne's Wish | 13 Nov 2013 | Pavilion | Nicosia Cyprus

For the first time in Cyprus for Gus G and his band FIREWIND.

Support bands: Arrayan Path, Neon Knight, Marianne's Wish.

MARIANNE'S WISH

Opening band of the event, the local rockers Marianne's Wish. Full energy on stage, great connection with the audience. They played songs from their full length album "Add to Wishlist" like brainwash, hex, seasons change and some of their upcoming album which is about to be released in January 2014.

NEON KNIGHTS

Next on stage, Neon Knights. Playing cover songs as Children of the Grave, TNT, Mr.Crowley, Master of Puppets and many more and some of their own Aftermath and Running Back. They closed with the Heaven and Hell, a hymn as they called it, and as it is!

ARRAYAN PATH

Last time I saw Arrayan Path live was more than a year ago, so I couldn't wait the time to see them on stage again. This is their first live performance after the release of their new album IV:STIGMATA, and that's another reason why I couldn't miss this show! They started the show with my personal favorite track of the new album Pharao's Wish! Full of passion on stage, strong energy, thundering riffs, killing vocals! They continue with songs from all their discography, new and old, such as Angel with no Destination, Midnight and the first-born Massacre, Molon Lave, The Fall of Mardonius, Road to Macedonia. Also mention that, Panayiotis Xanthou (R.U.S.T.) was on guitars for the live show!

FIREWIND

And finally, the long awaited band got on stage! Starting with Into the Fire, Head up High, Destination Forever. The people moshing around, all singing together. They continue with Few against Many, I am the Anger, World on Fire and many more including intrumentals and Gus' solo the Fire and the Fury.

General:

We had a great time over there, a wonderful metal night! Some problems with the sound but in general lines the whole thing run normally.

Special thanks to my friends George and Margarita.
And also many thanks to Nicholas Georgiades for the photos!
