MethysOs is a Folk Metal band from Limassol, Cyprus. The founding members of the band are George 'Satyr0s', Dem and Mario "Kenji". The band was formed in 2011.
A demo “Beyond Myths and Legends” was released in March 2012. 4 years later, in March 2016 the debut album "Folkloria" was released.
The band have shared the stage with bands like Armageddon, Mnemic Uriah Heep, Clepto, and Grave Digger. The idea of the band name was inspired from their imaginary fellow friend, Trollmate, who acts as their muse and also steals all of their booze. The band teases to awaken old, legendary fairy tales with the music and lyrical theme targeting myths and legends. MethysOs want the audience to dance to their music, along with the headbanging.
