Live Report | MEDIEVAL STEEL, RUST, GYPSY FEARS | 11 Nov 2013 | Exandas | Nicosia Cyprus

Last night I had the honor of being present at a historic concert in Cyprus.

The American legends of the undergournd metal scene MEDIEVAL STEEL came for the first time to our island.

The night has been opened by the local female-fronted metal cover band Gypsy Fears. Well enough energy on stage, amazing voice, great riffs. It was my first time seeing them live and I'm impressed of their performance. Keep up the good work!

Next to follow, the heavy metallers RUST. You know them, powerful as every time! Full energetic , giving the one hundred percent of their self to warm the audience for the headliners! They played old and new material and covers, Fire at Will, Runing from the Law, Phoenix, Sanity of Madness, Divine Victim, Argonauts, Prepare for Glory and Metal Child.

And the time has come, Medieval Steel on stage! What to say first, the extremely killing riffs of Cary and Jack? the thundering Chuck on bass? the smaching Chris on drums? or the storming voice of Bobby? They blowed up all the attender's minds by playing the classical songs from their EP and demo such as Warlords, Battle Beyond the Stars, Tears in the Rain and many more and the new The Killing Fields. And last, the long awaited MEDIEVAL STEEL song! No words to describe what happened. Everyone was screaming, everyone was singing, everyone was flying onto other worlds, and when it was the time for Bobby to make his alchemists to bring his voice over the top, I felt the ground lifting away, a storm of meteors destroyed everything. All of us we jumped on stage and none could stop us. It was a tremendous monent

That was a night I will never forget!

Special thanks to Nicholas Georgiades for the photos!
