GYPSY FEARS: Confirmed for POTN IX

Gypsy Fears is a five piece band from Limassol that kickstarted as a cover band in 2011 with Marios Danos on guitar and Maria Danou on vocals . With them Alexander Bayraktarov on drums and Andreas Kerveros on bass. 2012 was a year of changes in the lineup after Alexander and Andreas left the group and were replaced by Nik Koukides and Savvas Philippou respectively . With them came a second guitarist , Nicolas Mitsingas . Along with these changes the sound and character of Gypsy Fears formed and became heavier . This was helped by the fact that the band members are influenced across the whole spectrum of Rock and Metal Music. Their covers include many well-known bands such as Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Dio, Bruce Dickinson, Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer, Motorhead, WASP , Ozzy, Deep Purple, Misfits and many more. Since then and since giving several performances mainly in Limassol and Nicosia , as in some festivals, they decided it was time to compose their own material. They are currently working on their originals that will be released after Easter this year.
