SWITCHBLADE from Israel, confirmed for Power of the Night XI Festival 2016

The heavy metallers from Israel Switchblade, have been confirmed for Power of the Night XI Festival on July 2016.

Switchblade was formed in 2005 and has been dedicated to keep the old flames of 80’s Traditional Metal. Throughout its existence, the band suffered various of lineup changes but eventually overcame the hardships, started performing in 2008 and from there recorded singles and demos between 2007 to 2012. The band’s debut album “Heavy Weapons”, via Killer Metal Records.

The band’s foremost live moments spread through appearance in the Wacken Metal Battle finals 2012 in Israel, supporting Iced Earth and performing as main band for ex-Nightmare / Now Or Never vocalist Jo Amore in a Dio tribute in 2014, supporting Overkill in 2015 and also performing in the first elodic Metal Festival in Israel also referred to as “Melodic Alliance Festival” featuring Elvenking, Airborn, Winter’s Verge, Desert and other local Metal acts.

Currently the band is working on its second album, performing and slowly booking shows abroad.
