Οι ASHES OF ARES για πρώτη φορά στην Κύπρο!
Δέκα χρόνια μετά την δημιουργία τους και την κυκλοφορία του παρθενικού τους ομότιτλου δίσκου (“Ashes Of Ares”, 2013) από την Nuclear Blast, θα ακουστεί στην Λευκωσία για πρώτη φορά η λατρεμένη φωνή του Matthew Barlow, που αγαπήθηκε από το κοινό από την εμβληματική του συμμετοχή στους Iced Earth. Μαζί του στο μπάσο ο Freddie Vidales, επίσης πρώην μέλος των Iced Earth, που στο συγκρότημα εκτελεί και χρέη κιθαρίστα.
Για πρώτη φορά επισκέπτονται την Ευρώπη με μια πλήρη περιοδεία, όπου η Κύπρος έγινε μέρος της χάρη στην NSM productions. Στην ως τώρα πορεία τους, πολύτιμη ήταν στα τύμπανα η συνεισφορά του ντράμερ Van Williams (Nevermore, Ghost Ship Octavius, Pure Sweet Hell, Liege Lord).
Ξέρουμε τι σκεφτόσαστε και δε θα σας κρατήσουμε πολύ σε αγωνία…
ΦΥΣΙΚΑ ΚΑΙ ΘΑ ΠΑΙΧΤΟΥΝ ΑΡΚΕΤΑ ΚΟΜΜΑΤΙΑ ICED EARTH ΣΤΗ ΣΥΝΑΥΛΙΑ!
Η κοινή πορεία των Barlow/Vidales στο συγκρότημα έστω και σε διαφορετικά χρονικά όρια, δε θα μπορούσε να αφήσει εκτός Κύπρου κομμάτια που αγαπήθηκαν όσο ελάχιστα, έτσι θα καλυφθεί όλο το φάσμα της πορείας του Barlow στους Iced Earth με πολλές εκπλήξεις.
Μία ακόμα βασική έκπληξη όμως είναι ότι στο μπάσο τους Ashes Of Ares θα συνοδεύει ένας επίσης μεγάλος μουσικός από το παρελθόν. Ο λόγος για τον Kelly Conlon, ο οποίος μεταξύ άλλων έπαιξε στο θρυλικό “Symbolic” των Death (1995), ενώ στη συνέχεια «εξαργύρωσε» αυτή του τη συμμετοχή με την ένταξη του στους Monstrosity και τη συμμετοχή του σε δυο σερί κορυφαία άλμπουμ του death metal, τα “Millennium” (1996) και “In Dark Purity” (1999). Εν κατακλείδι, οι Ashes Of Ares έρχονται στην χώρα μας έχοντας στις αποσκευές τους το καλύτερο μέχρι στιγμής άλμπουμ τους, με δυο πρώην μέλη των Iced Earth και ένα πρώην μέλος των Death/Monstrosity και υπόσχονται μια βραδιά συγκίνησης που θα μας μεταφέρει στο μακρινό παρελθόν.
Αυτός ο Ιούνιος θα είναι καυτός και συγκινητικός όσο ελάχιστοι. Σε κάθε περίπτωση, έχετε ήδη προειδοποιηθεί!

ASHES OF ARES for the first time in Cyprus!
Ten years after their creation and the release of their debut self-titled album ("Ashes Of Ares", 2013) by Nuclear Blast Records, Nicosia will hear the beloved voice of Matthew Barlow, who has been loved by the audience from his iconic participation in Iced Earth. He is joined on bass by Freddie Vidales, also a former member of Iced Earth, who also serves as guitarist in the band.
For the first time they visit Europe with a full tour, where Cyprus became part of it thanks to NSM Productions. In their journey so far, the contribution of drummer Van Williams (Nevermore, Ghost Ship Octavius, Pure Sweet Hell, Liege Lord) has been valuable on the drums.
We know what you are thinking right now and we won't keep you in suspense…
OF COURSE, SEVERAL ICED EARTH TRACKS WILL BE PLAYED AT THE CONCERT!
The joint journey of Barlow/Vidales in the group, could not leave out of Cyprus the tracks that were loved so much, so the whole range of Barlow's journey in Iced Earth will be covered with many surprises.
Another major surprise, however, is that Ashes Of Ares will be accompanied on bass by a great musician from the past. The reason for Kelly Conlon, who, among other things, played on Death's legendary "Symbolic" (1995), and then "redeemed" his participation by joining Monstrosity and his participation in two consecutive top death albums metal, "Millennium" (1996) and "In Dark Purity" (1999). In conclusion, Ashes Of Ares come to our country with their best album so far in their luggage, with two former members of Iced Earth and one former member of Death/Monstrosity and promise a night of emotion that will transport us to the distant past.
This June will be as hot and exciting as few. In any case, you have already been warned!
